Wellness Pilates Retreats
Pilates with Serina offers wellness retreats to the most stunning locations such as: Tuscany, Italy and Spilt, Croatia.
The retreat involves a small group of individuals and pairs travelling to a luxurious villa and spending their time participating in sunrise and sunset pilates; enjoying meals cooked by a qualified nutrition coach; experiencing optional local excursions such as vineyard visits, hikes and white water rafting and spending their time around the villa in the sauna, pool or local beach.
The perfect combination of exercise, local food& drinks, wellness, rest and relaxation.

Traditional Mat Based Pilates
Traditional pilates focuses on exercises performed on a mat. Each exercise targets different areas of the body to strengthen, mobilise and lengthen muscles. Traditional pilates builds strong cores, corrects postural imbalances and reduces back, muscle and joint pain.
FAQ
Q- Do I need to have done pilates before?
A- No, I work with complete beginners- even beginners to exercise
Q- Should I do reformer or mat based?
A- I will complete a body and fitness analysis, identifying areas for development and goals & give you my honest, professional advice on which to choose- some alternate both
Q- Is once a week enough?
A- Some clients train once a week with me and show enormous growth in their bodies, pilates is a long game not a sprint
Reformer Pilates
Reformer pilates is carried out on a reformer machine. This involves a moveable carriage that can be weighted appropriate to each exercise and body. Reformer focuses on building muscle and generating strength, mobility and tone.

DUE TO TODAY’S EVER GROWING TECHNOLOGY RELIANCE, CHILDREN’S POSTURES AND LACK OF EXERCISE ARE EXTREMELY CONCERNING THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY
Pilates with Serina offers work shops with children from foundation stage to Key Stage 5. Each workshop discusses the importance of exercise to the body and generates an understanding of good posture and what it looks like. We then take part in a practical session which demonstrates exercise which encourage core strength, mobility and posture
